Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide oversight and design expertise for water conveyance projects, including pipelines.
- Oversee the development of quality scopes, fees, reports, plans, specifications, and estimates for multiple projects.
- Supervise engineering staff, technicians, and other technical personnel.
- Review and evaluate design and construction practices to ensure compliance and quality.
- Attend project meetings, collaborate in a team environment, and work independently as needed.
- Identify project needs and facilitate meetings with internal staff and external clients.
- Participate in and lead business development activities, contributing to both office and practice growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California.
- 20+ years of experience in general civil design, specifically with pipelines.
- Familiarity with detailed design processes, including the preparation of plans and specifications.
- Proven experience managing Professional Engineers (PEs) and Engineers in Training (EITs) with multiple project deadlines.
- Excellent technical report writing and strong communication skills.
